Rope Rescue

Our safety teams are trained to keep your cast, crew, audience or event personnel safe in, on, under or around water. This includes the occasion where working at heights on scaffolding, cliffs, overhangs, mountains or gorges is required and access is an issue.

Accessing or egressing these people or indeed a casualty often requires specialist skills and equipment. Even with a 3 metre “hot zone” and safety cordon, the emergency services are a long way away and their extraction capabilities will need to be reinforced by a mountain rescue team and a lot of luck.

With Mountain Rescue Team members, Canoe/Kayak Instructors and White Water Rafting/River Guides in our safety crews and by training our teams to Rescue 3 and rope rescue technician standards, and as RYA/Rescue Coxswains, we can achieve increased levels of access, unique points of view for camera operators, a greater number of opportunities for stunt coordinators, additional safety options and a variety of possibilities in rigging or staging media projects, productions and events.
